About the job 

You shape and govern the use of AI across HR Technology. You provide architectural direction for Workday-native capabilities, custom-built solutions and AI agents, ensuring that development aligns with the company’s AI strategy, technology architecture and standards. You report to the Head of HR Technology, with a dotted line to the Manager Architecture Advisory, Enterprise Architect. 

 

Job responsibilities 

  • Define and maintain the AI strategy and roadmap for HR together with the Head of HR Technology. 
  • Identify valuable AI opportunities, translate business needs into viable solutions, and lead or contribute to studies, pilots, and implementations. 
  • Establish architectural and governance principles covering data, privacy, security, documentation, ownership, and lifecycle management. 
  • Assess development across our global Human Capital Management System Workday and its AI capabilities, as well as other large language models, agentic AI, and enterprise AI platforms. 
  • Design how AI interacts with HR systems, enterprise platforms and data sources, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective. 
  • Facilitate workshops, build AI awareness and collaborate with HR, IT, architecture, legal and data privacy specialists. 

 

Location and flexibility 

This position is based at the World Trade Center in Stockholm, or Sandviken, with a hybrid setup. For the right candidate, remote work from elsewhere within the CET time zone may be possible. 

 

Your profile 

You bring extensive experience from technical positions and have built AI solutions and  worked closely with the technologies and architectural concepts behind them. We place significant value on curiosity, a willingness to learn, and the ambition to continuously develop both your own expertise and how AI can create value across our HR organization.  

 

Your background includes 

  • Strong knowledge of generative AI, large language models, AI agents, and solution architecture. 
  • Hands-on experience with HCM or ERP systems and platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Claude, Azure AI, Foundry, Power Automate, MCP, A2A or similar. 
  • Understanding of APIs, integrations, data architecture, and cloud technologies. 
  • Experience in prototyping AI solutions, gathering requirements, and facilitating workshops. 
  • A university degree, or equivalent experience.  
  • Strong English communication skills. 

 

You’re curious, self-driven, and motivated by continuous learning. With a structured approach and broad perspective, you’re comfortable taking ownership and managing stakeholder expectations.  

 

The team 

You belong to HR Technology & Information Management and work closely with the Head of HR Technology. Collaboration extends across HR and the business, as well as IT, enterprise architecture, legal and data privacy specialists.
